An RCMP investigation is under way after a man was wounded by a single gunshot on 14th Avenue in North Battleford on Thursday night.
According to Battlefords RCMP the incident took place just after 7 p.m. that evening. The victim was found located in an alley between 106th and 107th St. north of 14th Ave.
Friday morning police reported a vehicle has been linked to the incident. It is a two-door grey Pontiac Sunfire. Police say the vehicle was last observed southbound on 107th Street shortly after the incident.
The victim was transported to hospital in Saskatoon for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
