Habitat for Humanity - the Battlefords will be holding a community information meeting Tuesday.
The meeting is at McKitrick School at 7 p.m.
Councillor Cathy Richardson mentioned the meeting at Monday's city council meeting and noted it would provide more details about plans for a Habitat home to be built in the community this summer.
Anyone interested in finding out more about their efforts and who wants to get involved is encouraged to attend. The organization is seeking volunteers to donate their time, talent and money.
My First Home Inc. of the Battlefords signed an agreement last fall to operate Habitat Battlefords under the umbrella of Habitat Saskatoon.
Their mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting home ownership as a means to break the cycle of poverty.
