Heritage park land donation stalled

The City of North Battleford has not yet given its stamp of approval to a new heritage park development in the southeast quadrant.

The City of North Battleford has not yet given its stamp of approval to a new heritage park development in the southeast quadrant.

A resolution calling for the City to donate two lots in the southeast quadrant to Battlefords First Nations Heritage Park Corporation as the City's contribution to the project, subject to certain conditions, had been on the agenda.

But the vote has been pushed back to the June 25 council meeting as City Manager Jim Toye plans to provide information back to council to answer a number of outstanding questions they had about the proposed land donation.
