Battlefords RCMP responded to about 23 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8. Those calls included four false alarms and one nuisance 911 call. Thursday March 7th 2014 0600 a.m.

Thursday March 7th 2014 0600 a.m. - Friday March 8th 2014 0600 am

Thursday

4:39 p.m. - Call to assist with domestic situation on the 1200 block of 102nd Street. Dispute over a purse. Matter was resolved and both parties departed. No charges.

4:58 p.m. - Report of a hit and run near Pioneer Avenue. Plate number of suspect vehicle was obtained and the matter is still under investigation.

5:47 p.m. - Report of unwanted guest in residence on the 10000 block of 103rd Street. Dispute over who has right to property, Police investigation reveals matter is civil.

6:56 p.m. - Report of intoxicated person on the 1000 block of 101st Street. 45-year-old man arrested and held in custody until sober.

11:36 p.m. - Report of a disturbance at local business. Two intoxicated men causing problems. Police attended and subjects removed. Matter still under investigation.

Friday

1:30 a.m. - Report of disturbance at local business. Several people intoxicated and causing problems. Police attended and subject left without further incident.

3:55 a.m. - Report of intoxicated man walking down street near Winder Crescent. man knocking on doors and causing disturbance. Police located intoxicated 24-year-old man who was arrested for public intoxication and causing a disturbance.

5:44 a.m. - Report of people fighting in residence located on Deans Crescent. Police attended and arrested three intoxicated subjects for mischief and assault. Investigation is ongoing.
