More than 120 calls were made to the North Battleford RCMP detachment between 6 a.m. Friday, July 11 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 15.

More than 120 calls were made to the North Battleford RCMP detachment between 6 a.m. Friday, July 11 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 15.


Of those calls for service, there were 18 traffic-related complaints, nine false or nuisance 911 calls, 10 municipal bylaw or noise complaints and four false alarms.


Friday


7:59 a.m. - Vehicle tires slashed on 110th Street. Investigation ongoing.


8:05 a.m. - Break and enter to a business on 1100 block of 101st Street. Some electronic/computer equipment reported stolen.


9:05 a.m. - Assault reported at front counter of detachment, occurred earlier in day in area of 17th Avenue. Both parties known to each other. Both subjects have since been interviewed and investigation ongoing.


9:08 a.m. - 16-year-old youth reported unlawfully at large, ran away from a scheduled outing while on Clements Drive. Warrants have been attained for subject's arrest, remains at large.


9:47 a.m. - Theft of a camera from an unlocked vehicle parked on 800 block of 111th Street overnight.


10:01 a.m. - Theft of gardening supplies from a yard on the 1600 block of 96th Street overnight.


11:27 a.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on Railway Avenue East. Review of all available surveillance footage pending.


12:08 p.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on Railway Avenue East.  Two 21-year-old men have both been charged with one count each of theft under $5,000 after a review of surveillance footage.


12:56 p.m. - Report of fraudulent transactions at a business on Territorial Drive. Investigation continuing.


1:00 p.m. - Complaint of kids throwing rocks at vehicles on St. Laurent Drive. 9-year-old suspect located and returned to residence.


4:20 p.m. - Complaint of a heavily intoxicated man causing a disturbance on 107th Street. Found to be in violation of court conditions and arrested and charged with two counts of breach of recognizance. Remanded into custody and made his first appearance Monday, July 14.


4:30 p.m. - Vehicle parked on 1200 block of 110th Street entered overnight. Money and property taken.


6:15 p.m. - 57-year-old man charged with driving while disqualified. Stopped after being located on 109th Street driving without a seatbelt and pulling an unregistered trailer.


7:47 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated man staggering around the hallways of an apartment building on 105th Street. 24-year-old man located, arrested and held in custody until sober.


8:29 p.m. - 33-year-old woman reported missing from her residence on Trudeau Street. She was last in communication by phone and is believed to be somewhere in Saskatoon. Shirley Ann Stone has brown hair, brown eyes and stands about 5'3". She is not believed at this point to be in any danger, but anyone with any knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP.


8:33 p.m. - Damage to a vehicle parked on 800 block of 109th Street. Suspect described as being about 10 years old and was chased away by complainant. 


9:12 p.m. - 13-year-old youth arrested and charged with breach of probation, located by members away from residence in violation of a court imposed curfew.


9:38 p.m. - Damage to a window at a residence on 108th Street believed to have occurred previous evening.


11:18 p.m. - Report of a suspicious man looking into vehicles on 114th Street. Subject located and identified. No vehicles in area found to have been tampered with or entered.  Remains under investigation.


Saturday


1:23 a.m. - Loud party complaint on Panton Avenue. Warning given and no further complaints received.


1:25 a.m. - Report of four youth attempting to gain entry into a vehicle on 113th Street.  Four youth located and identified a short time later near the area. Investigation ongoing.


1:47 a.m. - 57-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance after report of intoxicated man causing problems on 107th Street.


3:39 a.m. - Loud party complaint on 112th Street. Warning given and no further complaints received.


4:26 a.m. - Complaint of yelling and screaming on 112th Street. A 47-year-old man was located on scene and arrested, found intoxicated with outstanding warrants. Party shut down.


4:37 a.m. - Attempted break and enter to a vehicle. Suspect fled down 108th Street when confronted, but was not located.


4:56 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated and injured man on 101st Street. He was found to have been injured in a confrontation with a second man. Suspect was located by members and arrested. 21-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault and was remanded into custody. He made his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday, July 14.


7:21 a.m. - RCMP received a call from a woman advising that someone had discharged a gun at the back of her residence on 114th Street and that the bullet had passed through her bedroom. It appears that this was a random act, not targeted at the victim. Police continue to investigate. 


7:36 a.m. - Report of man in a backyard on Bunce Crescent trying door handles.  Members located and arrested a 20-year-old man who has since been charged with attempted break and enter. 


11:36 a.m. - Theft of gasoline from a business on Highway 16 Bypass reported. Suspect vehicle described as a green older model Chevrolet. 


1:40 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated man on 100th Street urinating in public. 42-year-old suspect located, arrested and charged with causing a disturbance.


1:56 p.m. - 45-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance, found very intoxicated on 101st Street.


5:49 p.m. - Hit and run reported on 107th Street. Vehicle struck a SaskEnergy box and fled area. A 34-year-old woman was later identified as the driver and charged with failing to remain/report.


6:29 p.m. - Members called to a residence on St. Laurent Drive on a report of loud screaming coming from the backyard of a residence where there are children. Screaming found to be children screaming and playing in a pool.


8:27 p.m. - Report of intoxicated driver on 13th Avenue with young children in the vehicle. The vehicle stopped and driver received a roadside suspension for driving in blood alcohol level in excess of .04 and children removed. Driver was also charged with driving without a license.


11:27 p.m. - Report of people fighting on Campbell Crescent. Man located on scene advised he had been assault by a woman and was not cooperative with members regarding circumstances. 


11:51 p.m. - Man located on 19th Avenue with injuries to his face. He was heavily intoxicated and was not cooperative with initial investigation into how he was injured. Inquires in area identified a suspect who was arrested in the early morning hours. Investigation ongoing, no charges have yet been laid.


Sunday


12:19 a.m. - 22-year-old woman arrested and charged with breach of probation, found by patrolling members very intoxicated on Campbell Crescent.


12:53 a.m. - Report of a man having been assaulted on 103rd Street. Complainant reported her friend was assaulted but didn't known his last name and he was no longer in the area. No one located.


1:16 a.m. - Caller calling 911 because she wanted to know when her boyfriend would be getting out of jail. Warned about misuse of 911.


1:43 a.m. - Call of unknown persons riding bikes and skateboards on complainants driveway on 112th Street. Patrols for subjects negative.


3:59 a.m. - Caller reporting a man threatened her with a bat then ran out of her residence on 102nd Street when police were called. Suspect was located a short distance away and arrested. Complainant was not very cooperative with members on scene and matter remains under investigation. No weapon was located on suspect or in the area of the residence.


9:02 a.m. - Report of a disturbance on Railway Avenue East at a business, a woman reported to be verbally abusive to a male she was with and other customers. Both subjects located in a vehicle reported having an argument which was now over. Man transported by members to a resident he wanted to go to and both agreed to separate and cool down.


4:24 p.m. - Report of threats being received via text message. Suspect warned about behaviour as per complainant's wishes.


6:16 p.m. - Damage to a parked vehicle on 96th Street. Suspect found to be under 12. 


6:36 p.m. - Numerous intoxicated people reported on Railway Avenue East. Three subjects located and advised to leave area. No further complaints.


Monday


3:49 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on Ross Crescent. Found to be two brothers having a fight. No charges pursued.


8:31 a.m. - Vandalism to a building on 102nd Street, building spray painted by unknown suspect overnight.


8:46 a.m. - Theft from a vehicle on Maher Drive, money and tools reported stolen.


10:42 a.m. - Ongoing dispute/threats reported. Suspect warned about behaviour as per wishes of complainant.


10:57 a.m. - 13-year-old reported missing since Friday. Subject returned home on his own shortly after 12 p.m.


5:08 p.m. - Minor two vehicle collision at intersection of 100th Street and 15th Avenue. No injuries reported, some minor traffic disruptions created.


5:17 p.m. - Cement mixer reported stolen from construction site on Carlton Trail.


9:56 p.m. - Report of an assault on Winder Crescent. Victim is pregnant, but does not appear to have been injured. 32-year-old man was arrested at scene and taken into custody. Assault charges are pending.


Tuesday


5:58 a.m. - Report of persons trespassing onto property at 108th Street. Three subjects, 11, 12 and 13 located by members. No damage to property and warned about actions.
