The ribbon has been cut to officially open the new and expanded Home Hardware Building Centre in North Battleford. Mayor Ian Hamilton joined in the ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday morning.
The expansion commenced in 2014 and it was an extensive undertaking, with the addition of a new section to the north end of the store, doubling the size of the shopping area in order to accommodate expanded product lines.
The existing office area of the store was demolished and replaced as part of the expansion project. The grand opening celebrations at the store were scheduled to go on from May 12 to 14.
