There has been another adjournment in the indecent assault case against Morris Hryniuk.

The next court date in the case is set for July 21 at 1:30 p.m. in North Battleford, as lawyers continue their efforts to pursue a possible resolution.

Hryniuk faces eight counts in connection to alleged incidents involving students from Moosomin First Nation Day School, with charges dating back to the 1960s.

At a previous court date in May, there was some indication of a possible resolution in the works, possibly in time for his latest appearance on June 2.

However, in court Monday afternoon, Hryniuk's court-appointed lawyer Monte Migneault noted counsel was awaiting new materials from Correctional Services Canada. Those were needed to craft a resolution to the case.

Hryniuk was not present in court Monday.
