HUMBOLDT — Humboldt's mayor, Rob Muench, has given an online address about the COVID-19 pandemic and how the city is reacting.

With the recent changes that are evolving quickly due to the COVID-19 virus, I want to assure you that City Council and Administration are putting you, our citizens, in the forefront of our decisions in response to this pandemic.
In everyone's best interest, for the health and safety of our community and our valued employees, we will continue to provide our services with precautionary measures. You can still do business with City Hall, but just in a different manner.
City of Humboldt staff will be available via telephone at 306-682-2525 or email from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday to answer any questions or concerns you may have. A contact list is available on our website at humboldt.ca. We also advise you to follow local media outlets for information.
Our essential services, such as water supply and emergency and protective services are critical to everyone's well-being and we want to assure you that they will go uninterrupted.
City Council would like to remind all of you to continue to protect your family, friends and our community by practicing social distancing and remain at home if you are experiencing symptoms.
We can't stop the COVID virus, but we can all do our part to slow it down.
