Injuries in underpass crash

Two motor vehicle accidents and one house alarm activation were responded to by North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services June 4. The first motor vehicle accident happened just after 11 a.m.

Two motor vehicle accidents and one house alarm activation were responded to by North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services June 4.

The first motor vehicle accident happened just after 11 a.m. on the underpass between North Battleford and Battleford. The accident, involving an SUV and a small passenger car, resulted in injured occupants being transported to the hospital.

The second motor vehicle happened on the intersection of 101st Street and 18th Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Two vehicles were involved in the accident. No one was injured, but the vehicles did sustain excessive damage.

A house alarm accident was triggered at 5:20 p.m. on 99th Street. It was caused by workmen conducting building maintenance creating smoke, fumes and dust.
