Battlefords RCMP had a busy weekend with more than 110 calls for service/occurrences responded to between 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29 and 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2.

Friday

6:02 a.m. - Report of man and woman in their 30s who appeared to be attempting to break a house window on 800 block of 109th Street and fled in a darker van. No damage to property. Perpetrators not located.

7:17 a.m. - Suspicious person wandering on road, almost hit by traffic on 19th Avenue. Not located.

9:13 a.m. - Vehicle parked on Carlton Trail damaged by intoxicated man on a bike.

2:07 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at Frontier Mall parking lot. No injuries reported.

2:15 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on Territorial Drive. No injuries, both vehicles still operational.

3:20 p.m. - Minor two-vehicle collision in parking lot on Carlton Trail. No injuries and both vehicles still operational.

3:35 p.m. - Domestic assault reported on 1400 block of101st Street. 30-year-old man from North Battleford arrested on scene and charged with two counts of assault. Remanded into custody and willmake first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. Monday.

4:31 p.m. - Report of woman failing to comply with probation conditions. Not located at residence where information suggested she would be.

5:36 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated person causing problems at a residence on 600 block of 102nd Street. Subject co-operative with police and taken to another location to keep the peace.

6:54 p.m. - Intoxicated man sleeping in entryway to business on 1100 block of 101st Street. 22-year-old man arrested and facing charges under Liquor Act.

6:55 p.m. - Intoxicated man refusing to leave business on Railway Avenue East. 52-year-old man was arrested on scene by members and taken into custody. Facing two charges of assaulting a police officer, uttering threats and charges under the Liquor Act. He was remanded into custody to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. Monday.

7:38 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 1200 block of 109th Street. Vehicle struck another vehicle parked along street. Driver charged under the Traffic Safety Act.

9:17 p.m. - Intoxicated man sleeping in a bar on 900 block of 101st Street. 29-year-old man located and arrested, held in custody until sober and facing charges under the Liquor Act.

10:29 p.m. - 911 call to residence on 800 block of 110th Street to assist in breaking up an unwanted house party. Upon arrival all subjects were gone.

11:02 p.m. - Call to residence on 1300 block of 103rd Street on report of an assault. Upon arrival, complainant changed her story from being assaulted to her ex knocking on the door and then leaving. Same man was located a short time later at another location, extremely intoxicated and arrested. Held in custody until sober.

Saturday

12:40 a.m. - 911 call of an unwanted intoxicated woman at a residence on 900 block of 110th Street. Everyone at the home was found to be intoxicated. 33-year-old woman arrested for mischief and held in custody until sober.

1:00 a.m. - Members on patrol located a very intoxicated youth on 103rd Street. Provided a false name and found to be on various probation conditions. 16-year-old youth arrested and charged with obstruction and three counts of failing to comply with probation.

1:00 a.m. - Intoxicated man reported to be causing a disturbance on Railway Avenue East. Subject located and provided a false name. Arrested and later released, charged with one count of obstruction.

1:06 a.m. - Report of a truck striking a fence near Douglas and Pearson. Vehicle later found abandoned near Kramer Place. Investigation is ongoing.

1:26 a.m. - 911 call of person(s) trying to knock a door down on 1000 block of 103rd Street. Perpetrator known to complainant.

1:29 a.m. - Members called to assist with severely intoxicated youth on 1000 block of 109th Street. Taken to hospital for care by ambulance.

1:39 a.m. - Intoxicated man reported to be sleeping in a bar on Railway Avenue East. 34-year-old man arrested and held in custody until sober. Charged under the Liquor Act.

1:42 a.m. - Intoxicated patient leaving hospital against medical advice, located earlier sleeping in a snow bank. Located by members in a bar and returned.

1:53 a.m. - 26-year-old man arrested for being drunk in public after located knocking on a window to a residence on 1000 block of 108th Street where he was not welcome.

2:00 a.m. - 18-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, found heavily intoxicated on Pearson Avenue.

2:01 a.m. - Unwanted, intoxicated man causing problems, throwing things around in a home on 900 block of 105th Street. 25-year-old man arrested on scene. Charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and remanded into custody, to make first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. Monday.

2:15 a.m. - Report of man coming to complainant's door and knocking on it. When she told him to leave he left. Subjects are known to each other and man has apparently been bothering complainant for some time.

2:21 a.m. - Unwanted, intoxicated man knocking on door to a residence on Winder Crescent, not wanted there because he is drunk. 22-year-old man located on scene and arrested. Held in custody until sober.

2:56 a.m. - Report of a disturbance in a hotel room on Highway 16 Bypass. 24-year-old man arrested for violating conditions of a conditional sentence order. To make first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday.

3:34 a.m. - Complainant reporting being threatened by two unknown men on 800 block of 109th Street. Still under investigation.

6:34 a.m. - Suspicious man knocking on a door at 1400 block of 105th Street, asking for a place for himself and six others to sleep. Left walking north in alley, patrols negative.

7:42 a.m. - 21-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance after complaint of intoxicated man trying to fight customers at a business on Territorial Drive North.

8:12 a.m. - Report of man walking on Highway 16 East, appeared to be in some difficulty. Located but refused assistance from members.

1:20 p.m. - Call to house fire on 1600 block 103rd Street to assist with traffic control. Fire controlled by homeowner. Nothing suspicious. No injuries reported.

2:39 p.m. - Report of missing and possibly suicidal youth. Located later in the afternoon unharmed.

2:48 p.m. - Members called to residence on 1300 block of 106th Street for child welfare check. Everything fine at residence.

3:00 p.m. - Shoplifting reported at Frontier Mall. Suspects dropped property prior to fleeing in a van.

3:50 p.m. - Unwanted intoxicated guest at residence on 1400 block of 101st Street. 45-year-old man arrested on scene and held in custody until sober.

6:08 p.m. - Members called to business on 700 block of 102nd Street to turn off an outside water valve. Crisis averted.

6:48 p.m. - Report of an assault on 1600 block of 102nd Street. Victim not injured. Incident occurred previous evening. Matter still under investigation.

7:58 p.m. - 911 complaint of man assaulting a woman near 108th Street and 10th Avenue. Victim located by members and transported to hospital for non-serious injuries. Refused to co-operate with police investigation.

8:27 p.m. - Unwanted intoxicated man at residence on 1100 block of 106th Street. Originally reported man was unknown to complainant, then acknowledged knowing him when they both were found to have the same last name. Arrested for mischief and held in custody until sober. No charges pursued.

8:56 p.m. - Child welfare complaint, five-year-old child attended to a business by himself. Social Services assisted and members attended to a residence on Trudeau Street and found adult caregiver to be intoxicated, and child relocated to a sober relative's residence for the evening.

9:59 p.m. - Report of a stolen Ford F350 Super Duty with Saskatchewan License 766 IVR from 1300 block of 108th Street.

10:38 p.m. - Members dispatched to residence on 1900 block of St. Laurent Drive on complaint of yelling and screaming at a residence. 18-year-old man located on scene, intoxicated and arrested for mischief having broken a window at residence. Later released from custody on charge of resisting arrest.

10:54 p.m. - Suspicious person banging on doors on 1100 block of 110th Street. Patrols negative.

11:30 p.m. - Report of several youth knocking on doors and running away. Three youths ages 11, 14 and 15 located and warned.

Sunday

1:59 a.m. - Assisted ambulance with highly intoxicated man at 900 block of 101st Street.

2:56 a.m. - Unwanted person knocking on door to residence on 1200 block of 106th Street. Suspect known to complainant. Left area and patrols negative.

3:15 a.m. - Up to 15 suspicious persons came to residence on 1700 block of 102nd Street, appeared to try to gain entry then left area.

3:37 a.m. - 25-year-old man arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving over .08 after vehicle stop on 800 block of 111th Street.

3:40 a.m. - Report of large fight on 800 block of 111th Street, then report incident had calmed down. Patrols made to area. Several subjects spoken to and area cleared.

4:07 a.m. - 911 call to residence on 1100 block of 108th Street. Complainant's wife came home intoxicated and brought another intoxicated woman home and he wants them to leave. Members attended and subjects then agreed to all get along for the night.

4:25 a.m. - 25-year-old man man and charged with impaired driving and driving over .08 after vehicle stop on 12th Avenue and 103rd Street.

4:50 p.m. - Vehicle stop on Railway Avenue East led to arrest of 20-year-old man. Facing charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.

5:33 a.m. - Report of two men possibly attempting to gain entry to vehicle on 1400 block of 108th street. No entry gained.

5:44 a.m. - Report of a man laying in the middle of the road on Highway 4 north. Appears to have gotten up as he was gone upon members arriving to scene.

12:10 p.m. - Break and enter to a residence on 1700 block of 99th Street some time overnight. Suspect known to complainant, warned without charges as per complainant's wishes.

4:00 p.m. - Report of stolen car. Perpetrators known to owner.

5:04 p.m. - Complaint of harassment. Suspect warned.

6:24 p.m. - Suspicious men knocking on door on 1400 block of 109th Street. Unknown direction of travel. Perpetrators not located.

6:51 p.m. - Unwanted, intoxicated man at residence on 500 block of 102nd Street. Suspect left when police called.

7:09 p.m. - Attempted break in to residence on 1200 block of 103rd Street. Perpetrators known to complainant fled area when police called. Matter remains under investigation.

8:26 p.m. - Vehicle window damaged on 800 block of 110th Street.

8:37 p.m. - Man located on 9th Avenue appearing to have been assaulted. Taken to hospital for treatment of a broken jaw. No information provided to members on incident. Further attempts to be made in near future to obtain information.

8:51 p.m. - Report of fighting/yelling at a residence on 500 block of 102nd Street. 24-year-old man on scene found to have warrants out of Unity and arrested. To appear in court on outstanding charges Monday.

9:06 p.m. - 911 call of a break and enter attempt at a residence on 1200 block of 103rd Street. Complainant initially provided names of two suspects, then refused to provide statement or co-operate with any investigation.

Monday

1:35 a.m. - Two men, apparently intoxicated, yelling and shaking fists at passing cars on Deans Crescent.

Police also received several false alarm calls and numerous complaints of erratic/possibly impaired driving.
