Another step has been made towards a new Wellness Centre in Melfort.
Council voted to begin the rezoning process on a parcel of land near the Melfort Hospital at its meeting Dec. 12 that will make a group of doctor’s offices attached to the hospital possible.
Coun. April Phillips, the chair of the community services committee, said the likeliness of the project going ahead looks positive.
“Once the zoning is changed, it will be one step closer and we’re hoping in spring there will be some ground breaking over there,” she said.
