Métis citizens head to the polls Saturday to cast their vote for the next Provincial Métis Council.
They are voting for a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and a regional representative.
The polls are open across the province from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The polls are set up to accommodate social distancing. Barriers are in place between the election workers and voters as well as numerous other precautions are in place to keep people safe.
Strong voter turnout is expected, according to a Métis Nation of Saskatchewan press release. It is the final day that the Métis Citizens can vote.
