Between 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17 and 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, North Battleford RCMP received approximately 40 calls for service.
Sunday, Aug. 17
• Two people reported that their vehicles had been broken into on the 1100 block of 100th Street.
• There was a complaint on the 800 block of 109th Street that their shed had been broken into overnight and a Rocky Mountain Slayer bicycle had been stolen from it.
• Someone called at 10:17 a.m. to say that a friend that was over at her house visiting stole keys from the home and took a car that was parked outside. She called back minutes later to say that they had the vehicle back and did not need police assistance.
• There was an attempted break and enter to a residence on the 1800 block of 97th Street over the weekend. The suspect broke into the garage and appeared to have tried to enter the house through a window, but was unsuccessful.
• There was a report of vandalism to a vehicle that was parked on the 1500 block of 104th Street during the weekend.
Monday, Aug. 17
• There were a couple of noise complaints around 5 a.m. of people loudly playing basketball at a nearby school.
• A vehicle was broken into at 5:20 a.m. on the 1100 block of 105th Street.
• There were items stolen out of a vehicle that had been parked on the 800 block of 107th
Street overnight.
• A lawnmower and propane tank were stolen from a residence on the 900 block of 108th
Street over the weekend.
There were two people arrested for alcohol related offences, there were eight disturbances reported, two traffic complaints, two minor collisions, two false alarms and one nuisance 911 call.
