The Battlefords Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to hosting another dynamic motivational speaker March 13.

Eddie LeMoine is the featured attraction that day from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Balych Mural Meeting Room at the Chamber's North Battleford offices. His presentation is entitled A Journey to Engagement.

LeMoine's seminar will be on the topic of employee engagement - where attendees learn how to inspire their workforce, focus people on a common mission and help them reach new performance levels. It is a program designed to help businesses facing the issue of finding and retaining good talent. His Battlefords visit is one of several stops he has booked in Saskatchewan and Alberta during March.

The upcoming event was mentioned Tuesday at the regular monthly meeting of the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce directors, with Executive Director Linda Machniak noting there has been a number of seats sold already.

LeMoine's visit follows on the heels of the Chamber's previous series of educational events. In the past couple of years the Chamber has hosted events featuring Donald Cooper (of Cooper hockey apparel fame), radio commentator Eric Anderson and customer service speaker Barbara Glanz. The LeMoine visit, however, is to be on a smaller scale than those previous events.

Those interested in attending the Eddie LeMoine event March 13 can contact the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce at 306-445-6226 and the fee is $75 plus GST. The event is being put on by the Chamber in partnership with North West Enterprise Region.
