Light pole takes a dive

Between 6 a.m. Sunday, April 20 and 6 a.m. Monday, April 21, Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 20 calls for service/occurrences. Included were two false alarms, one false/nuisance 911 calls and three traffic related occurrences. Sunday 11:36 a.

Between 6 a.m. Sunday, April 20 and 6 a.m. Monday, April 21, Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 20 calls for service/occurrences.

Included were two false alarms, one false/nuisance 911 calls and three traffic related occurrences.

Sunday

11:36 a.m. - Report of an intoxicated man passed out ata business on Railway Avenue. A 49-year-old man was located, arrested, lodged in cells and charged for being drunk in public.

2:18 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated womanat the 1000 block of 103rd Street. A 53-year-old woman was located, arrested, lodged in cells and charged for being drunk in public.

5:47 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated womancausing problems in a residenceat the 600 block of 101st Street. A27-year-old woman was located, arrested for outstanding warrants, lodged in cellsuntil sober.

8:54 p.m. - Report of suspicious people at the 600 block of Carlton Trail. A 50-year-old man was located, arrested, lodged in cells and charged for being drunk in public.

8:55 p.m. -Report of a possible impaired driver going up and down on Trudeau Street.Vehicle described asa dark green blazer. Patrols made. Vehicle not located.

9:36 p.m. - Report of a light pole knocked over at Territorial Drive and Airport Road. A vehicle was left at the scene and the driver fled. Still under investigation.
