The Nov. 8 Living Sky School Division board meeting featured a presentation from transportation manager Trevor Horton regarding the transportation department.
During the first quarter of the school year, 3,178 students were transported on 117 transportation routes.
The average capacity on buses with urban routes was 69, while it was 22 for rural routes. Living Sky buses travel a total of 20,122 kms daily, while the average one-way ride time was 53 minutes, and the longest was 108 minutes.
