EAST CENTRAL — Due to the hot, dry weather, a number of communities have put out fire bans.
According to the provincial government, there are fire bans in Wakaw, Vonda, Wadena, Kelvington, Jansen, Meacham, Naicam and Manitou Beach.
RMs with fire bans include Prairie Rose, Morris, Kelvington, Hoodoo, Fish Creek, and Bjorkdale.
There is no provincial fire ban as of 5 pm May 30.
