City council in North Battleford has given the go-ahead to a local improvement on Pioneer Avenue.
The improvement covers Pioneer Avenue from Battleford Road to 114th Street with $189,293.10 to be paid by the municipality and $140,253.20 to be paid by benefiting landowners by way of a special assessment. This will be for subgrade, subbase, base and pavement work by the city.
The bylaw authorizing that local improvement passed in three readings at an Aug. 19 council meeting.
