Light of Christ Catholic School Division with hosted Pope Francis' Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, Most Rev. Luigi Bonazzi, at a diocesan mass held in John Paul II Collegiate gym May 4.
Bishop Albert con-celebrated the mass that saw a crowd of 700 in attendance. Following the Mass, a luncheon was hosted at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
At the luncheon, former director of LOCCS, Ken Loehndorf was presented with an award from the Nuncio for his work in Catholic education.
May 5, Director of Education Cory Rideout, board chair Glen Gantefoer, board members Adrienne Welter and Keith Koberinski, and Religious Education Co-ordinator Marie Graw attended a presentation and luncheon with the Nuncio and Bishop Albert in Prince Albert.
