There are only four weeks remaining to purchase your ticket for the Blaine Lake Seniors' & Community cash lotto with a draw date of Oct. 17.

Twenty-two cash prizes totaling $125,000 will be awarded with only 2,500 tickets sold.

"Our lottery was very successful last year, selling out the 2,500 tickets in advance of our deadline," commented Anne Sitter, one of the lottery co-ordinators. "We continue to need your support in order to help us achieve our renovation and expansion goals."

Cash lotto proceeds will assist the seniors' organization with its continued renovation and expansion project. The main street location will remain an easily accessible venue for the numerous seniors and members of the general public that utilize the facility for meetings and social events.

Rod Kitter, CJWW radio morning host, will be in Blaine Lake Oct. 11-14, broadcasting live from the 107 Main Street facility to assist with promoting the lotto and community of Blaine Lake. A celebratory cake will be presented to kick off the live broadcast. Everyone is welcome to stop by for cake and coffee, visit with Rod and purchase a lotto ticket.

Ticket sales will close at midnight Oct. 14. Tickets are available from Blaine Lake businesses or you can purchase your ticket by calling the toll free number 1-888-946-2201. Draw date is Oct. 17. Last year's grand prize winner of $100,000 was Yvonne Beaudry of Langham.
