Loud parties, hit and run accidents,

Among the approximately 80 calls for service/occurrences reported between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday were seven alarms responded to by Battlefords RCMP.

Among the approximately 80 calls for service/occurrences reported between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday were seven alarms responded to by Battlefords RCMP.


Six were false, but one possible break and enter was attempted and RCMP are waiting to examine surveillance footage.


Nuisance or false 911 calls continue to plague police, with five over the weekend.


Friday


6:11 a.m. - Loud party complaint on Winder Crescent. Warning given.


8:48 a.m. - 36-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication on Ross Crescent. 


10:35 a.m. - Child custody complaint. Guidance and advice provided by police, but matter was strictly civil in nature.


4:01 p.m. - Hit and run to vehicle parked on 1700 block of 110th Street in a parking lot. Incident happened sometime during the day.


4:16 p.m. - Four intoxicated men causing a disturbance at an apartment building on St. Laurent Drive. One subject located and warned who left area without issue. Others already gone from area.


4:24 p.m. - 911 call of a man who appears to have been assaulted walking around on Centennial Crescent. Man not located and no related complaints received.


6:18 p.m. - Man banned from a business reported to be there. Left when police called. Later located by members and warned to not return.


7:08 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision reported on Railway Avenue. One vehicle stopped briefly but left area without exchanging information with other driver. Possible suspect identified and matter remains under investigation.


7:25 p.m. - 911 call made from Clark Drive. Complainant upset, initially complaining about a theft of alcohol from residence and wanted police to locate suspects and bring back her beer. Investigation revealed complainant was just upset because when everyone left her residence, they took all the alcohol and didn't leave her any. No theft occurred. 


8:20 p.m. - Intoxicated man trying to enter residence on 104th Street. Left as police were being called.


8:34 p.m. - Request to locate 37-year-old man who had called family, quite intoxicated and unsure of whereabouts. Subject located a short time later unharmed.


10:09 p.m. - Assault reported on Panton Avenue. Victim would not co-operate with any investigation into matter. No injuries noted or reported.


Saturday


2:05 a.m. - Report of assault at a licensed premise. Two intoxicated persons fighting with each other and staff. A 24-year-old man was arrested on scene. Second suspect fled area prior to police arrival. Matter remains under investigation.


2:11 a.m. - Loud party complaint on St. Laurent Drive. Warning given and no further complaints received.


4:12 a.m. - Members called to residence on 2300 block of 100th Street on complaint of intoxicated woman causing problems. Upon arrival, no one at residence wanted to provide any information on circumstances. A 18-year-old man on scene found to have warrants and taken into custody.


4:33 a.m. - Intoxicated man, not properly dressed for weather on 105th Street banging on doors. A 29-year-old man located and arrested. Later released on charge of failing to comply with undertaking.


5:50 p.m. - Hit and run reported on 105th Street. Suspect driver returned to scene while police there and facing charges under the Traffic Safety Act.


10:22 p.m. - 911 call to residence on 109th Street. Complainant's ex-boyfriend at residence and on conditions to have no contact with her, fled home as police were being called. Charges pending.


Sunday


12:06 a.m. - Call to residence of a domestic dispute on St. Laurent Drive. Subjects arguing, no violence. 


2:00 a.m. - Unwanted phone calls being received by unknown person(s). Investigation ongoing.


2:47 a.m. - 34-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, refusing to leave a licensed premise.


8:53 a.m. - People arguing/intoxicated at a residence on 104th Street. Subjects separated for the day.


12:30 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at 100th Street and 13th Avenue. Both vehicles towed from scene. Ambulance attended as one driver sustained non-serious injuries.


1:00 p.m. - Single vehicle collision reported on Railway Avenue East. No injuries and minor damage to property.


9:03 p.m. - Subject failing to pay cab fare reported on 103rd Street. Agreement between parties reached.


9:57 p.m. - Attempted break in to a parked vehicle on 900 block of 106th Street. Suspect(s) did not gain entry, scared off by alarm/owner.


10:21 p.m. - 15-year-old youth reported missing from 112th Street. Located later unharmed.
