There are several reports this morning of major structural damage in the North Battleford area.
Eyewitnesses have reported the damage is in the downtown core and has been caused by two giant-sized creatures. One is described as a giant gorilla, while the other is described as a giant lizard with fire coming out of its mouth.
The eyewitnesses say the two creatures have been fighting one another, stomping on buildings and causing major destruction in the vicinity of the Capitol Theatre.
Gotcha again, folks. It's April Fool's day!
In actuality, this isn't a joke: the two creatures can indeed be found causing destruction in downtown North Battleford, but it's all on the screen.
The much-anticipated Godzilla vs. Kong starts tomorrow at the Capitol. Showtimes are 7 p.m. each night; there are also showings Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. in the afternoon.
