Makwa business robbed at gunpoint

MAKWA — A business in Makwa was robbed at gunpoint at about 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to Loon Lake RCMP. Police Police say to males wearing dark clothing, skeleton masks, with one suspect armed with a handgun, entered the business and demanded cash.

MAKWA — A business in Makwa was robbed at gunpoint at about 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to Loon Lake RCMP.

Police say to males wearing dark clothing, skeleton masks, with one suspect armed with a handgun, entered the business and demanded cash. A significant amount of cash was obtained and the pair exited the business on foot to the back of the business, where a third person is believed to have been waiting in avehicle.

They left the scene in an unknown direction. One employee was present at the time of the incident, but was not physically injured.

The two perpetrators are described as aboriginal males, 6 feet tall with thin builds.  Both were wearing dark clothing.

Loon Lake RCMP continue to investigate.
