A North Battleford man has been charged following multiple disturbances in the city Thursday night.

Charged is Tanner Olenick, 20, with various offences including causing a disturbance, resisting arrest and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Thursday around 10:45 p.m., Battlefords RCMP were called to a fight involving an intoxicatedmale who was described as causing trouble at a business located on the 1100 block of 100th Street in North Battleford.

Police arrived a short time later, but the person had fled and could not be located. Less than an hour later the RCMP received a call about a male on the lawn of a residence, this time on the 1000 block of 107th Street. When police found the man, he was suffering from various injuries.

EMS later arrived and the man was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital for treatment. While at the hospital, though, he became agitated and caused another disturbance. By the time police arrived at BUH the man had taken off on foot.

Officers located the suspect on 100th street a short time later, and after a brief foot chase he was taken into custody. He is alleged to be involved in all the incidents.
