A 31-year-old man died Monday, Sept. 8 in a work place incident at a lumber mill south of Big River.
Big River RCMP say the man succumbed to his injuries prior to emergency services personnel arriving. They received the call at about 8:45 p.m.
Police say the man was injured while conducting maintenance on equipment.
The incident is still under investigation and the name of the deceased had not been released at press time.
The matter remains under investigation by Big River RCMP and Occupational Health and Safety.
