An incident involving a distraught man threatening to jump from one of the Battlefords Bridges Monday morning ended positively, says RCMP Insp. John Sutherland.
North Battleford-bound traffic was backed up for a short time, with the incident being resolved just prior to 7 a.m.
Sutherland later told the Regional Optimist the end result was a positive one thanks to the responding agencies pitching in and working together, including the North Battleford Fire Department, which launched a boat on the river.
