Marijuana possession investigated

North Battleford RCMP responded to about 24 calls for service between 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4.

North Battleford RCMP responded to about 24 calls for service between 5 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4.


Those calls included two municipal bylaw/disturbance complaints, two false alarms, two child welfare/Family Act complaints, three traffic investigations, one false/nuisance 911 call and three missing persons reports.


Wednesday


8:29 a.m. -Complaint of theft from vehicle parked on 107th Street overnight.


9:25 a.m. -Complaint of uttering threats at a local school. This is still under investigation.


10:24 a.m. -Complaint of fraud from a financial institution, investigation ongoing.


3:32 p.m. -Complaint of an intoxicated man stumbling down 100th Street. The man was arrested and lodged until sober.


6:57 p.m. -Complaint of a youth in breach of his release conditions, investigation ongoing.


9:20 p.m. -Complaint of three youth in possession of marijuana, investigation ongoing.


Thursday


1:40 a.m. -During a traffic stop a woman gave a false name to police. The woman's identity was determined and she was found to be in breach of several conditions of her court order as well as obstructing the police officer. This individual was held for court.


3:13 a.m. -Complaint from an intoxicated woman advising that she wanted an intoxicated man removed from her home because he was not going to bed. The complainant was belligerent with the call taker and disrespectful to police. Members attended and the complainant changed her mind and did not want the man removed after all.
