For May 18, the provincial government is reporting 5 new COVID cases in the Central East zone and 4 new cases in the North East zone.

There are 68 active cases and 3 new cases in the Kelvington-Punnichy area (Central East 2), 19 active cases and 0 new cases in the Humboldt area (Central East 1), 3 active cases and 14 new cases in the Tisdale-Hudson Bay area (North East 3), 12 active cases and 1 new case in the Melfort area (North East 2), and 0 active cases and 4 new cases in the Nipawin area (North East 1).

In the past three days, the province has administered 221 vaccine doses in the Central East and 44 doses in the North East.

There are 5 people receiving inpatient care in the Central East, and 0 in the North East. There are 0 people in the ICU care in the Central East, and 0 in the North East.

As for variants, there is 1 active P.1 Brazilian case in the Central East and 1 active P.1 Brazilian case in the North East.
