Walk-in vaccination clinics will be opening up in Humboldt and Nipawin tomorrow for those eligible.
The Humboldt clinic will be at the Uniplex's Jubilee Hall on Thursday, May 20 from 12:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The Saskatchewan Health Authority said on its website the vaccine used will be Pfizer.
Nipawin's clinic will be at the Family Resource Centre at 200 1st Avenue East on Thursday, May 20 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. The vaccine used will be Moderna.
As of May 20, those 12 and older will be eligible for their first dose of a vaccine. The Saskatchewan Health Authority said only Pfizer vaccine has been approved for use for those aged 12 to 17. Eligible for second doses are people 85 and older, those who have had their first dose before Feb. 15, those diagnosed with or being treated for cancer (who will receive a letter of confirmation), and those who have received solid organ transplants (who will receive a letter of confirmation).
