Mazda stolen at gunpoint in North Battleford

RCMP ask the public to be on the lookout for a 2006 Mazda 6, black in colour, with a Saskatchewan licence 600 MKT.

NORTH BATTLEFORD — RCMP say a person was robbed of a vehicle at gunpoint in North Battleford Thursday.

Battlefords RCMP say they are investigating the incident that occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on March 18 on Panton Avenue.

RCMP say the victim was approached by four suspects, all with their faces covered, while sitting in a parked vehicle. One suspect produced a firearm and the suspects demanded the victim exit the vehicle.

The victim exited the vehicle and the suspects fled the area in the victim’s vehicle.

RCMP ask the public to be on the lookout for a 2006 Mazda 6, black in colour, with a Saskatchewan licence 600 MKT.

The suspects are reported to have pulled up to the victim initially in a silver hatchback vehicle, unknown make or model.

The victim was not injured during the incident.
