A Meadow Lake man facing robbery and several firearms charges, as well as breach of probation, was denied bail.

Cassidy Regan, 29, was remanded in custody after a show cause hearing in Meadow Lake Provincial Court May 25.

Regan was arrested in April by the Saskatchewan RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT). The ERT was in Meadow Lake at the time to execute a search warrant at a home on the 500 block of 6 Avenue West after police received reports of multiple threats with firearms. Officers from the Meadow Lake RCMP detachment secured the area around the residence at the 200 block of 2ndStreet West where Regan was until the emergency response team finished at the first home. At that home police arrested Cory Bouvier, 30, and Monica Bouvier,

RCMP haven’t said if the arrests at the two separate homes on the same evening are connected.

Monica Bouvier has been out on bail since April 30 and appears in Meadow Lake Provincial Court of July 13 to enter a plea. Cory Bouvier has another bail hearing in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on June 1.

Regan is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on June 22 to elect how he wants to be tried.
