MELFORT — Police are looking for three men after a man was stabbed at a Melfort home.
Melfort RCMP were dispatched to deal with an assault at a home on Main Street May 25 at 5:04 am.
Police said it was reported to them that three men, who had their faces concealed, entered the home and an altercation took place between them and an adult male resident. The man was stabbed during the altercation.
The three armed suspects then left the home on foot. RCMP do not know which way they were travelling.
Emergency medical services were on scene before the police and transported the victim to a nearby hospital with what were described as serious injuries. No one else reported injuries as a result of this incident.
Melfort RCMP said they continue to investigate.
