Nine of the province's top women's curling teams will compete at a championship in Melfort to determine who is the best in Saskatchewan.
The Melfort Curling Club will be hosting the 2018 Viterra Scotties Women's Provincial Curling Championship at the Northern Lights Palace from Jan. 2 to 7.
The club is selling event passes at its curling rink. It's also asking for help from volunteers to help pull the event off. Those interested can phone 306-752-2779.
Tisdale hosted the male equivalent, the 2017 SaskTel Tankard Men’s Provincial Championship, last February.
