A little over an hour after a man was reported missing from a residence on Little Pine First Nation, RCMP located his body in an open field west of that residence.
Cut Knife RCMP were notified the man was missing at 5 p.m. and his body was located at 6:20 p.m. Saturday.
RCMP Major Crime Unit North and Cut Knife RCMP are being assisted by North Battleford General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section and the office of the chief coroner.
An autopsy is expected to take place later this week.
