The North Battleford RCMP were busy between 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 and 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, receiving approximately 49 calls.
Included in those calls were three driving complains, two false alarms, eight false or nuisance 911 calls and one noise complaint.
Saturday
7:13 a.m. - Report of a suspicious vehicle in Fairview, but not located.
10:53 a.m. - Report of a missing person, who turns out wasn't missing at all, just residing in another city.
11:45 a.m. - Report of a two-vehicle collision on 100th Street. Still under investigation.
12:24 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated woman at a business on 100th Street. She was gone before police arrived.
12:59 p.m. - Call to assist ambulance with a suicidal man. He was transported to hospital by ambulance for medical assessment.
1:46 p.m. - Report of property dispute between friends. Mediated by police and property returned.
2:37 p.m. - Report of a fight between a man and a woman in an alley. Located the couple and investigation determined no fight or assault had taken place.
2:50 p.m. - Two men arrested for public intoxication on 11th Avenue. Released when sober.
3:17 p.m. - Report of a suspicious man on 1400 block of 110th Street. He was located by police and determined to be walking home.
3:23 p.m. - Complaint of threats uttered to damage property. Still under investigation.
4:46 p.m. - Report of a hit and run in aparking lot on Railway Avenue. Still under investigation.
6:05 p.m. - Report of theft from motor vehicle.
6:11 p.m. - Report of mischief to property on Ross Crescent occurring sometime between 1 p.m. and 6 pm.
6:17 p.m. - Police assisted in getting belongings back from a residence.
9:51 p.m. - Report of a man causing a disturbance outside a business on Railway Avenue. He was gone before police attended.
8:29 p.m. - A 53-year-old woman was arrested for public intoxication. Released when sober.
10:15 p.m. - Report of a suspicious vehicle on 109th Street.
10:27 p.m. - Report of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was located and the 20-year-old female driver has been charged with impaired driving, drive over .08 mg% and mischief. She will make her first court appearance later this month.
10:30 p.m. - Person reported missing, but located a short time later at a friend's house.
10:49 p.m. - A 30-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication on 13th Avenue. Lodged until sober.
11:30 p.m. - A report of theft from a business on Highway 16 Bypass.
11:55 p.m. - A report of two people loitering in an alley on 100th Street. Two men located and arrested for public intoxication. Released when sober.
Sunday
12:51 a.m. - Report of a disturbance at a residence on 101st Crescent. A 24-year-old intoxicated man was arrested nearby for public intoxication. Released when sober.
2:28 a.m. - Report of suspicious persons in the 1500 block of 101st Street.
5:20 a.m. - Report of a disturbance at a residence on St. Laurent Drive.
