Missing youth returned to parents

Between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 20 calls for service/occurrences. Two alarm calls were investigated and both were false. There were three 911 calls in the nuisance/prank category.

Between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 20 calls for service/occurrences. Two alarm calls were investigated and both were false.

There were three 911 calls in the nuisance/prank category. Two minor vehicle accidents occurred as temperatures began to cool and road conditions became slippery.

Wednesday

4:00 p.m. - reported theft of a stereo, iPod and wallet from a residence on the 1600 block of 102nd Street sometime Sunday morning. No suspects yet identified.

7:57 p.m. -Two-vehicle collision on 101st Street. One vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries reported. Traffic disruptions were minimal.

8:54 p.m. - Report of suspicious males in the area of 103rd street, possibly checking out vehicles. Area was patrolled extensively, no one located. No further complaints of related problems.

915 p.m. - 14-year-old youth reported missing/running away. Located by members approximately one hour later and returned to parents.
