Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 55 calls for service between 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Monday, Sept. 19

7:10 a.m. - Report of a garage being broken into and several items stolen.

7:32 a.m. - Report of moose on the Battlefords Bridge blocking traffic.

1:38 p.m. - Driver was stopped on Highway 4 and following the investigation was charged with impaired operation of motor vehicle.

2:55 p.m. - Report of a missing 14-year-old girl from Mosquito First Nation who has since been found safe.

7:30 p.m. - Report of two separate break and enters to residence. One on 35th Street in Battleford and the other on 104th Street in North Battleford.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

3:48 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence between two people on the 1100 block of 108th Street.

5:18 a.m. - Report of a man at a residence bear spraying other occupants of that residence. The man fled. The matter is still under investigation.

Police also responded to one false/nuisance 911 call, four disturbance/noise complaints, 10 traffic occurrences and one alarm call.
