The Battlefords Rural Detachment of the RCMP is reporting further arrests in relation to cabin break and enters and thefts in the Cochin and Aquadeo areas that have occurred since late October.
Two men, one youth and one adult, were arrested and charged in late November. Further arrests were made Monday, police say, and 26 more counts of break, enter and theft have been laid.
Blake Moccasin, 18, of Saulteaux First Nation has been charged with four counts of break, enter and theft. Moccasin is currently remanded in custody.
Nigel Mooswa, 18, of Moosomin First Nation has been charged with nine counts of break, enter and theft. Mooswa has been released on conditions to appear in court at a later date.
Twenty-four-year-old Alex Frenchman of Moosomin First Nation has been charged and is currently wanted for being unlawfully at large as a parole violator as well as four counts of break, enter and theft.
A male youth from the Moosomin First Nation is charged with five counts of break and enter as well as one count of theft of a quad.
A second male youth from Moosomin First Nation has been charged with four counts of break, enter and theft and is currently wanted by police.
