North Battleford City Manager Jim Toye has received provincial recognition from Saskatchewan Business Magazine.
In their March issue Toye was listed among the "leading men making a difference in Saskatchewan."
In the Sask Business article recognizing influential leaders in the province, Toye was described as "the dean of urban administrators in the province and the nation." He was especially singled out for his work as president of the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators.
The Sask Business piece went on to note that Toye's chairmanship of the national body led them to hold their annual conference in Saskatoon. Toye was also cited as a recipient of the Centennial Volunteer Medal, and was also recognized in the article for his positions with the Rotary Club and the Knights of Columbus.
This is yet more recognition this year for Toye, who earlier was presented a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
