More stolen vehicles around Battlefords and area

Battlefords RCMP responded to 63 calls for service over this time period Thursday, July 13, 6 a.m. – Friday, July 14, 6 a.m., including but not limited to the following:
 
7:10 p.m.           Police called to a sighting of a stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was located in the rural area west of Battleford on Hwy 40 and stopped by police.  Five occupants were located in the vehicle ranging from 16 – 21 years old.  All five occupants arrested and two male occupants ages 16 and 21 years old charged with various charges under the traffic safety act and criminal code.
 
12:24 a.m.         Two adult females where on the 1300 block of 104 st. when they were approached by two adult males unknown to them.  The males produced what appeared to be pepper spray, sprayed both women and then fled the location in a red car.  Police and ambulance attended the location.  Females were treated by ambulance personnel and taken to their homes.  The two male suspects were not located and are unidentified at this time and matter is still under investigation.
 
03:25 a.m.         A black 2010 Ford F150 was stolen from the 2400 block of Ross Cres.  Keys and wallet left in the vehicle.  Vehicle has Saskatchewan license plate 099 JCC.
 
Police would like to remind people not to leave their keys or valuables in their vehicles.
 
Police responded to 60 other calls for service including Provincial and Criminal Code Statutes.
