The fraud case against five leading Mosquito First Nation band officials, including the ex-chief, will return to provincial court Aug. 12.
Former chief Noel Stone, Jr. along with Milton Oxebin, Elbert Pahsaknunk, Anderson Moosomin and Derrick Graham, are charged in connection to alleged fraud connected to the band election on Mosquito First Nation in 2011.
Moosomin faces a forgery charge; the others face charges of fraud and disobeying a statute under the Criminal Code.
In provincial court Tuesday, defence and prosecution agreed on the date and that the five should be kept together for their court appearances.
