Riders involved with the Kevin Weber Memorial Run roll out of the Discovery Ford Motor Sports parking lot on August 11, heading to Wakaw on the first leg of their day's journey. The riders ended up back in Humboldt for a banquet that evening. The ride benefited the Humboldt and District SPCA this year.

The sound of rumbling motorcycles filled the air as a long line of motorcycles snaked onto the highway.
Fifty motorcycles rolled out of the Discovery Ford Motor Sports parking lot around 11 a.m. on August 11 as they set out on the fourth annual Kevin Weber Memorial Motorcycle Run.
The riders travelled from Humboldt to Wakaw, to Melfort, Watson and Annaheim before arriving back in Humboldt for a banquet. About 85 people attended the banquet.
Once again this year, the run benefited the Humboldt and District SPCA, reported Katrina Stelzer, who organizes the run, in memory of her brother, with her husband Dave.
In other years, the run has benefited the Humboldt Emergency Relief Organization (HERO) and the Canadian Cancer Society. This is the second year the proceeds, which have yet to be totalled, have gone to the HDSPCA.
"My brother... never had any kids. His pets were his kids," Katrina said.
Weber died of cancer a few years ago; he had a bike that he loved, and his family wanted to do something to honour his memory, so they chose to start this motorcycle run.
It's a way to remember him, Katrina agreed.
Riders from all over the province took part, coming in from Saskatoon, LeRoy, Bruno and Prince Albert.
"Riders come out for a cause," Katrina said.
Weber's Firebird Trans-Am led the way for the motorcycles once again, driven by his family members. His parents brought up the rear, in a truck and trailer.
The amount raised by the run will be released in the coming weeks, and presented to the HDSPCA.
