Multiple bogus pizza orders reported

The 911 line was busy with six false/nuisance calls placed between 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 4 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 5. Battlefords RCMP also dealt with about 24 calls for service/occurrences, two of which were traffic related complaints.

Tuesday

11:49 a.m. - Gas theft on 16 Highway Bypass. Suspect vehicle described as a beige, four-door newer Camry.

1:31 p.m. - 31-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, causing a disturbance on 101st Street.

5:19 p.m. - 41-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication, causing a disturbance at a business.

7:03 p.m. - Property damage reported on Gregory Drive. Fence and gate damaged sometime overnight.

8:21 p.m. - Report of a stabbing on 108th Street which happened the previous evening and the victim was en route to hospital just now. Victim was extremely intoxicated, suffering from superficial injury to one hand. Victim not co-operative with investigation could not provide any details of alleged incident.

10:55 p.m. - Caller phoned 911 wanting police to help her get into her residence. Then caller stated she got the door open and didn't need police anymore and hung up. Caller then phoned 911 again several minutes later to report that the reason she called the first time was because she had told someone to leave the door unlocked while she was out but they didn't, so she needed help. Then again said she was now fine and didn't need help anymore. 911 Act charges pending.

10:58 p.m. - Caller reporting someone has ordered pizza to his house three times and his wife is upset and somewhat scared. Unknown who is placing the pizza order and the pizza company has been advised that these are not their orders. Reported to police for information.

Wednesday

1:14 a.m. - 42-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, cause disturbance at a business.

2:56 a.m. - Complaint of an assault on Bowers Drive. An intoxicated 29-year-old woman arrested at the scene. Investigation ongoing.

3:50 a.m. - Complaint of a disturbance in a backyard of a residence on the 1200 block of 108th Street. An intoxicated 24-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance.
