One of two individuals charged in a second-degree murder on Moosomin First Nation in February is now back in jail.

Lawyers in provincial court Tuesday indicated that Taryn Cote, previously released on conditions, is now back in custody in Saskatoon facing a new charge there.

Judge Lloyd Deshaye has set it for June 4 at 11 a.m. for Cote's next appearance, likely by closed-circuit TV if it is back up and running in provincial court by that time. (CCTV had been unavailable due to renovations at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre.) If not, he could appear in person.

The co-accused, Troy Swiftwolfe, faces the same second-degree murder charge. He is due back in provincial court in North Battleford June 23.
