MVA at Battlefords Bridge

Emergency crews were busy monday Morning cleaning up at the Battlefords Bridge following an incident involving a vehicle.


North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services report that around 7:19 a.m., they responded to a call at the north-bound bridge of Highway 4 north to clean up a small antifreeze leak as a result of a motor vehicle accident.


The vehicle sustained extensive damage. In addition to the fire department the RCMP and WPD Ambulance also responded.


Crews also responded to a single-vehicle incident on the bridges Sunday, at around 10:20 p.m.


According to NBFES, the occupant of the vehicle was checked over by WPD Ambulance and was released. RCMP also responded to the scene. The vehicle was extensively damaged in the incident.
