A significant amount of narcotics, including codeine, methadone and morphine, was stolen from a Melfort business.
Melfort RCMP responded to a break and enter complaint Feb. 25 at around 5 a.m. The drugs stolen, which were primarily in pill form, were legally stored at the business.
The police have two suspects: a man and a woman. RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and more information will be provided as it becomes available. Those with information are asked to contact the Melfort RCMP or Crimestoppers.
Melfort RCMP would like to warn the public about the dangers of purchasing and/or using illicit drugs, particularly powerful narcotics and opioids. Medical-strength narcotics used individually or in combination can be deadly.
