SARCAN Recycling announced 2012's Annual Customer Service Awards in the categories of customer service, accuracy and cleanliness, with North Battleford's location picking up a single award.
Awards were further divided by the size of the depots, from small to extra-large. North Battleford won in the extra-large category for customer service.
The organization used secret shoppers to determine the winners, which were chosen from among the 71 locations SARCAN locations province-wide.
Sean Collins, SARCAN's Assistant Director of Operations, stated that "Our employees take pride in their depots, and it shows. The customer Service Awards are an excellent way to increase employee engagement and pride in customer service. Our employees work hard and they deserve recognition."
The North Battleford SARCAN location will receive a plaque to display at their location.
