Tanya Zakall has established Absolute Essentials on Centre Street in Neilburg.

Want to pamper yourself but don't feel like driving to the city for a spa treatment? Now you can enjoy many aesthetic services right in Neilburg with the opening of Absolute Essentials at 21 Centre Street. The new business is located in the same building as Knickers beauty salon, which is operated by Nicole Martin.

The owner/operator of Absolute Essentials is Tanya Zakall, who studied at Lakeland College and graduated with distinction as a certified aesthetician this past June. Zakall's new business officially opened Sept. 27 and is scheduled to operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. To kick-off the business, Zakall is offering a 10 per cent discount on a client's first beauty treatment until the end of November. She will be offering other promotions in the future, and will advertise them ahead of time so her clients will have time to plan their appointments and be able to catch the promotions.

Appointments can be made for various services by calling (780) 205-0486. Current services available are the Absolute Pedicure or a slightly shorter version called the Pedi Express. Zakall also offers the Absolute Manicure and the Mani Express.

Hair Removal with a soft wax enriched with vitamins and having anti-bacterial properties is also available. Waxing is a semi-permanent hair removal method that removes hair from the root. Clients can also come in to have eyelash extensions put in place (or for extension removal) as well as eyebrow and/or eyelash tinting.

In the future, Tanya hopes to add additional beauty treatments to the list. Gift certificates are available and these are great gift options for the Christmas season.

"I've always been interested in the beauty industry," explains Zakall. "Ever since I was about 12 years old." She has been residing in the Neilburg area since March 2008.

Zakall encourages women to "take some time out to pamper yourself" as wives and mothers often spend all their energy on the other members of the household.

"Absolute Essentials was created with your personal well-being and overall health as the main focus. I am committed to promoting wellness as part of health care and by providing the public with professional aesthetic services gives my clients the opportunity to take time out for themselves to rejuvenate and restore the body through relaxation," she explains. "Absolute Essentials uses professional products with quality ingredients which are beneficial in achieving optimum results for your skin care needs. I believe in providing exceptional service and having the highest standards in sanitation practices."
