Light of Christ School Division is reporting the number of new positive cases of COVID-19 within the division.
On Dec. 18, they were informed by officials from Saskatchewan Health Authority of a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at St. Mary School. To protect the privacy of the individual they are not able to share or discuss details.
Also on Dec. 18 officials from SHA informed them of a case involving an individual at John Paul II Collegiate.
On Dec. 20, officials from Saskatchewan Health Authority informed them of another positive COVID-19 case in an individual at John Paul II Collegiate. Again, they are not able to share details.
On Dec. 21 Light of Christ was informed by SHA of a third positive COVID-19 case in four days at John Paul II Collegiate.
Light of Christ says their thoughts and prayers are with these members of their school community, and say “we all have a shared responsibility to decrease the risk of COVID-19 entering schools.”
