Board members of North Saskatchewan River Municipal Health Holdings were informed at their Jan. 21 meeting that Dr. Odiegwu has arrived to serve Health Holdings clinics.

The board was told she will be ready to start seeing patients by the end of the month.

Prairie North Health Region and NSRMHH are still recruiting for the remaining vacant physician position for its clinics. A prospective physician is presently working through the immigration and assessment process.

"We are hopeful to be back up to full staff by the end of the year," the board states in a press release.

The board has accepted the resignation of Sharon MacNab. MacNab will now be working full time in the Riverside facility lab.

The NSRMHH board approved the 2013 budget and appointed Menssa Baert Cameron Odishaw LaCock as the auditor for 2013.

The next regular meeting of the board will be held Monday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the RM of Mervin office, Turtleford.
